This entry form may be used to enter any DRYC hosted local area sailing regatta

 

Please complete the form below and either click on the Submit Entry button to email it to DRYC, or print a copy of the form below, complete and sign it, and return to DRYC by fax or mail. 

 

If you make a mistake, please reenter and resubmit the entry form (multiple copies are OK).

 

If you do not receive a copy of this entry by email, it means a mistake was made (such as an incorrect email address), please reenter and resubmit the entry form.

You may pay by credit card on-line (Payment will be made via PAYPAL) or mail your payment, by making the payment option selection below. If you select to pay be credit card, you will be automatically be brought to the Paypal site after completing the entry form. You may also bring your payment to the Race Committee within one hour of finishing.

Note to Cruising Class Entrants:

Cruising Class Rules are based on Appendix E of So. Cal. PHRF Class Rules, except for the modified allowances indicated in this form.  Ratings are administered by the DRYC Cruising Class Chairman.

Boats with PHRF Base Ratings below 100 require Race Committee (RC) approval 2 days prior to the race before an entry is accepted. Boats not in keeping with the spirit of a “Cruising” boat may be denied entry into Cruising Class and entered in a PHRF class at the discretion of the RC.

RACE ENTRY AGREEMENT with Del Rey Yacht Club 
In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I agree as follows:

1. My yacht will be equipped to conform with any USCG safety requirements and those of any fleet or association whose rating system will be used for the race in which I compete.
2. Any contestant or any member of the race or protest committee may inspect my yacht before or after the race.
3. I agree to comply with all rules and sailing instructions governing the race.
4. I hereby release the Club, its officers, agents, employees and committees from any and all liability for any injury to myself or my yacht arising out of their conduct of the race or my use of the facilities, provided that such release does not discharge my insurance carrier under the provisions of insurance policies on my yacht. This waiver shall not be deemed as any indemnity on my part.

5. I assume any risk of injury arising out of my participation in the race, failure or breakage of my yacht or any of its equipment, or weather conditions.
6. I acknowledge that the safety and seaworthiness of my yacht is my sole responsibility and DRYC in accepting my entry assumes no responsibility therefore.
7. I certify that my crew and I are able to swim.
8. I will notify the Club or the Race Committee immediately upon withdrawal from the race.
9. I own or have chartered the yacht entered and I am a member of a Yacht Club that belongs to SCYA or to a yacht racing association that is a member of US Sailing.

Submission of Entry  

 

A copy of your entry information will be emailed to you if an email address is provided and the entry form is submitted online. If you do not receive an email copy, you may assume that the entry form must not have been received by the DRYC race committee or your email address was incorrect. You may resubmit your entry if necessary if you made a mistake.

 

Please contact the race committee if a problem is encountered to ensure receipt of your entry..
